Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Layer half of the green chiles in a baking dish. Top with half of the cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses.
Repeat the layers with the remaining chiles and cheeses.
In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, flour, and salt. Pour over the layered chiles and cheese.
Bake for 45 minutes or until the casserole is golden brown and firm.
Notes
For an extra kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the egg mixture.
