  • 2 lbs chicken wings separated into flats and drumettes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 cup Frank's RedHot sauce or your favorite hot sauce
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • 0.5 cup blue cheese crumbled
  • 0.25 cup sour cream
  • 0.25 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tbsp chives chopped

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large bowl, toss chicken wings with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until evenly coated.
  • Place wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden.
  • In a small pot, combine hot sauce and butter over low heat, stirring until butter is melted and sauce is smooth.
  • In a bowl, combine blue cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, vinegar, lemon juice, and chives. Mix until fully incorporated to make the dip.
  • Toss the baked wings in the hot sauce mixture until well coated. Serve with blue cheese dip on the side.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the amount of hot sauce to your preference for spiciness.
