Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet, cook the cubed chicken over medium heat until no longer pink, about 6-8 minutes.
Stir in the salsa and taco seasoning mix. Cook for another 2 minutes.
In a 9x13 inch baking dish, layer the salsa chicken mixture, sprinkle with 1/2 cup of cheese.
Spread the sour cream over the chicken mixture, sprinkle with the remaining cheese and crushed tortilla chips.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
For an extra kick, consider adding sliced jalapeños to the top before baking.
