Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken cubes and cook until browned on all sides.
In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, Rice-A-Roni, chicken broth, sour cream, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well.
Transfer mixture to a greased casserole dish. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and golden on top.
Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley.
Notes
For a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the mixture before baking.
