Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken drumsticks or wings or thighs
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley for garnish optional

Instructions

  • In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, olive oil, honey, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, smoked paprika, onion powder, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  • Pat the chicken drumsticks (or wings or thighs) dry with paper towels and place them in a large, resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish.
  • Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are well-coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish with plastic wrap, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight for enhanced flavor.
  • Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat.
  • Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing any excess to drip off.
  • Grill the chicken drumsticks (or bake in the oven) for about 25-30 minutes, turning occasionally, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the chicken is cooked through with a golden exterior.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
  • Allow the Easy Chicken Drumsticks (or Wings or Thighs) to rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy these flavorful and juicy chicken pieces as a delightful main course or appetizer!
