  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded or diced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup 10.5 oz can
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables frozen
  • 1 tbsp butter melted
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 0.5 tsp salt to taste
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper freshly ground

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix together the chicken, chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, mixed vegetables, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the chicken mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, self-rising flour, and milk until smooth. Pour over the chicken mixture.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
  • Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
