  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded or diced
  • 1 cup frozen peas and carrots thawed
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup 10.5 oz
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 package refrigerated biscuit dough 8 biscuits
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix together the chicken, peas and carrots, chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  • Pour the mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Cut each biscuit into quarters and place them evenly over the chicken mixture.
  • Brush the biscuit tops with melted butter.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For a touch of heat, add 1/4 tsp of red pepper flakes to the chicken mixture.
