Instructions
Preparation Steps
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent.
Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spoon. Cook until browned and no longer pink.
Add diced potatoes to the beef. Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika. Stir well.
Cover the skillet and reduce heat to medium. Cook for about 15 minutes or until the potatoes are tender, stirring occasionally.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the mixture. Cover again and allow the cheese to melt for about 2 minutes.
Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
Make sure to use a large enough skillet to accommodate all ingredients comfortably.
