Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
Add chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and beef broth. Bring to a simmer.
Add pasta, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Simmer until pasta is just tender, about 10 minutes.
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly, about 20 minutes.
