Instructions
Preparation Steps
Wash and thoroughly dry the apples. Insert a stick into the stem end of each apple.
In a small saucepan, combine caramels and water over low heat. Stir until the caramels are completely melted.
Dip each apple into the warm caramel, using a spoon to help coat each apple if needed.
Roll coated apples in chopped nuts if desired, and place on parchment paper to set.
Allow apples to cool completely before serving.
Notes
You can substitute nuts with candy sprinkles or chocolate chips for a different variation.
