  • 1.5 cups chocolate sandwich cookie crumbs about 24 cookies
  • 0.333 cups butter melted
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 5 oz dark chocolate melted and cooled
  • 0.5 cup crushed candy canes for garnish

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • In a medium bowl, mix cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie plate.
  • In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and confectioners' sugar until smooth. Add peppermint extract and mix well.
  • Beat in melted chocolate until combined.
  • In another bowl, whip the cream until stiff peaks form. Fold into the chocolate mixture.
  • Pour the filling into the prepared crust and smooth the top. Refrigerate until firm, about 3 hours.
  • Before serving, sprinkle with crushed candy canes.

Notes

Store pie in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
