  • 1.5 pounds chicken tenders
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 cups vegetable oil for frying

Preparation Steps

  • In a large bowl, combine buttermilk with 1/4 cup of buffalo sauce and marinate chicken tenders for at least 30 minutes.
  • In another bowl, mix flour, panko breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper.
  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Dredge marinated chicken tenders in the flour mixture and fry in hot oil until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  • Remove chicken from oil and drain on paper towels. Toss with remaining buffalo sauce.

Notes

Serve with blue cheese dip and celery sticks for an authentic buffalo chicken experience.
