Instructions
Preparation Steps
Peel the potatoes and cut them into even-sized chunks.
Place potatoes in a large pot and cover with cold water. Add salt.
Bring to a boil over medium-high heat then reduce to a simmer. Cook until potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes.
Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter and stir until melted.
