Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine 1/2 cup of the sugar, the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Stir in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until just combined.
Pour the batter into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
Distribute the blackberries over the top of the batter evenly.
Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of sugar over the blackberries.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the blackberries are bubbly.
