Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced onions and cook until caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.
Add the bratwursts to the skillet, and pour in the beer. Stir in garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Bring the mixture to a simmer, cover, and cook for about 15 minutes, turning the brats occasionally.
Remove cover and continue to cook until the beer reduces and the brats are browned, about 5 more minutes.
Serve the brats in buns with caramelized onions and a side of Dijon mustard.
Notes
