Main Ingredients

  • 8 oz Brie cheese round
  • 1 sheet Puff pastry thawed if frozen
  • 0.25 cup Apricot preserves or fig jam
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tbsp Chopped nuts such as pecans or walnuts
  • 1 tbsp All-purpose flour for dusting
  • 1 Egg beaten

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheet.
  • Place the brie in the center of the pastry.
  • Spread apricot preserves over the top of the brie.
  • Drizzle honey and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
  • Fold the pastry over the brie, trimming excess pastry as needed and press to seal.
  • Brush the pastry with beaten egg.
  • Bake on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Best served warm. You can experiment with different jams or nuts for variety.
