  • 1 lb prawns peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce low sodium preferred
  • 2 tbsp chili garlic sauce
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 3 scallions green onions sliced for garnish
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds toasted
  • 1 pinch salt to taste
  • 1 pinch black pepper to taste

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add the prawns to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink.
  • In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, chili garlic sauce, honey, and rice vinegar.
  • Pour the sauce mixture over the prawns and stir to coat evenly.
  • Cook for an additional minute, then remove the skillet from heat.
  • Garnish with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving.
