  • 1 box yellow cake mix 15.25 oz
  • 0.5 cup butter melted
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 cup chopped pecans optional

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Spread the apple pie filling evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  • Sprinkle ground cinnamon over the apple pie filling.

  • Evenly pour the dry yellow cake mix over the apples.
    2 cans apple pie filling
  • Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix.
    1 box yellow cake mix
  • Sprinkle chopped pecans over the top, if using.
    1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the edges are bubbly.
