  • 1.25 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.5 cup coconut shredded
  • 0.5 cup butter melted
  • 2 tablespoons golden syrup
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon hot water

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the flour, oats, brown sugar, and coconut.
  • In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and golden syrup.
  • Dissolve baking soda in hot water, and add to the melted butter mixture. Stir the mixture into the dry ingredients.
  • Drop tablespoons of the mixture onto the prepared baking tray.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool on a wire rack.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
