Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey or brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme or 1 tablespoon fresh
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes for a kick

Instructions

  • Whisk the Marinade:
  • In a medium bowl, mix all the marinade ingredients together until well blended.
  • Marinate the Pork:
  • Place pork tenderloin (1.5–2 lbs) in a zip-top bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over it and turn to coat thoroughly. Seal and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or up to overnight for maximum flavor.
  • Cook As Desired:
  • Remove pork from the marinade and discard remaining liquid. Grill, roast, or sear the pork until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C), then let rest 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For best results, allow the pork to marinate overnight.
