  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 tbsp butter melted
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 package crescent roll dough 8 count
  • 0.25 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken, cream cheese, melted butter, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until well combined.
  • Roll out the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles as per the package instructions.
  • Place a small amount of the chicken mixture on the wide end of each crescent triangle, adding a sprinkle of cheddar cheese over the chicken mixture.
  • Roll the crescent dough towards the narrow end and fold the edges to seal the chicken inside.
  • Place the rolled crescents on the prepared baking sheet and brush the tops with milk.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the crescents are golden brown.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

You can substitute the cheddar cheese with mozzarella for a different flavor profile.
