  • 1.25 cups raw almonds chopped
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour sifted
  • 0.75 cup butter softened
  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 units eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, cream together butter, sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  • Combine flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually blend into the creamed mixture.
  • Stir in coconut, chocolate chips, and almonds.
  • Drop by heaping spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
  • Bake for 12 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are nicely browned.
