  • 1 pound ground turkey preferably lean
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil extra virgin
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese optional
  • 4 buns burger buns
  • 4 leaves lettuce for serving
  • 1 medium tomato sliced
  • 1 small red onion sliced

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until well combined.
  • Form the mixture into 4 equal patties.
  • Place the patties in the air fryer basket and cook for 7-8 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • If using cheese, place a slice on each patty and cook for an additional minute, until melted.
  • Assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a bun and topping with lettuce, tomato slices, and red onion slices.

Notes

Feel free to add your favorite condiments like ketchup, mustard or mayonnaise.
