  • 12 oz refrigerated cinnamon roll dough, icing included makes 8 rolls
  • 1 tsp neutral oil for greasing the air fryer basket
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp light brown sugar, packed
  • 1.5 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 0.75 cup powdered sugar for quick glaze, or use the packet icing
  • 1.5 tbsp milk add more for a thinner glaze
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F for about 3 minutes.
  • Grease the basket lightly with the oil. Line with a parchment round if you have one.
  • Stir the brown sugar and cinnamon together in a small bowl.
  • Open the dough and separate the rolls.
  • Brush the tops with melted butter, then dip into the cinnamon‑sugar mixture.
  • Arrange rolls in the basket with space between each one.
  • Air fry 8–9 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and the centers are set.
  • Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Adjust thickness to taste.
  • Rest rolls 2 minutes, then drizzle with the glaze or warm the packet icing and spread. Serve warm.

Notes

Variation: Sprinkle chopped pecans over the rolls before cooking, or add a little orange zest to the glaze. Storage: Keep leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days; reheat in the air fryer at 320°F for 2–3 minutes.
