Cooking sprayfor air fryer
Optional for serving: bunslettuce, tomato, pickles, sauces
Instructions
Season the Beef:
In a large bowl, mix the ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until just combined—don’t overmix.
Form and Stuff the Patties:
Divide the beef into 8 equal portions. Flatten each into a thin patty. Place a cube or slice of cheese in the center of 4 patties, then top with the other 4 patties. Press edges tightly to seal, making sure no cheese peeks out.
Preheat Air Fryer:
Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil and preheat to 370°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.
Cook the Burgers:
Place the burgers in the basket without overlapping (work in batches if needed). Cook for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until browned on the outside and fully cooked inside (internal temp should reach 160°F/71°C).
Serve:
Let rest for 2–3 minutes. Serve on toasted buns with your favorite toppings and sauces.
Notes
For a gourmet touch, serve these burgers with freshly baked buns and homemade pickles.
