  • 2 tbsp paprika use sweet Hungarian paprika for best flavor
  • 1 cup sour cream for creamy sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 0.5 tsp salt or to taste
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper freshly ground
  • 2 cloves garlic minced

  • In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onions and cook until translucent.
  • Add the chicken pieces and cook until they are lightly browned on all sides.
  • Stir in the garlic and paprika, cooking for another minute.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Cover and cook for 30 minutes.
  • Stir in the sour cream. Simmer uncovered for another 10 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
