Ingredients
 

  • 1 box 3 oz orange Jell-O
  • 1 cup 0.5 lbs boiling water
  • ½ cup 0.25 lbs cold water
  • 1 cup 0.5 lbs crushed pineapple (drained)
  • 1 can 15 oz / 0.9 lbs mandarin oranges (drained)
  • 1 cup 0.5 lbs mini marshmallows
  • 1 container 8 oz / 0.5 lbs whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
  • 1 cup 0.5 lbs cottage cheese (optional for added creaminess)

Instructions

  • Dissolve the Gelatin:
  • In a large mixing bowl, dissolve orange Jell-O in 1 cup boiling water.
  • Stir in ½ cup cold water and mix well.
  • Chill in the fridge for about 20–30 minutes, until slightly thickened but not fully set.
  • Mix in Ingredients:
  • Fold in the cottage cheese (if using), crushed pineapple, mandarin oranges, and mini marshmallows.
  • Add the Whipped Topping:
  • Gently fold in the whipped topping until everything is evenly combined and fluffy.
  • Chill & Serve:
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving so it can set properly.
  • Garnish with extra mandarin slices or a sprinkle of orange zest if desired.
