In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds or until fragrant.
Stir in the honey, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar (or lemon juice). Cook and stir for a minute to combine the flavors.
Pour in the chicken broth (or water) to deglaze the pan, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Allow the sauce to simmer for 2-3 minutes, or until slightly thickened.
