Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a medium saucepan, cook the cherries over medium heat until they start to break down.
Mash the cherries with a fork or a potato masher.
Stir in the chia seeds, honey, and lemon juice.
Let the mixture simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
Allow to cool and transfer to a jar for storage.
