Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
Stir in the taco seasoning and 1/2 cup of salsa into the cooked beef. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Remove the beef mixture from heat and mix in the cream cheese until well combined.
Fill each pasta shell with the beef mixture and place them in a baking dish.
Pour the remaining salsa over the stuffed shells, then sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
Bake uncovered in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve with shredded lettuce.
Notes
Feel free to adjust the spice level by using mild, medium, or hot salsa.
