Preheat Oven:
Set oven to 400°F (200°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Prep the Asparagus:
Place trimmed asparagus on the baking sheet.
Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic, salt, and pepper.
Toss to coat and spread into a single layer.
Bake:
Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until asparagus is tender but still has a slight bite.
Add Cheese:
Remove from oven and sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan evenly over the asparagus.
Return to oven and bake for another 3–5 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve:
Garnish with optional parsley, lemon zest, or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes.
Serve warm as a side dish to steak, chicken, fish, or pasta.
