  • 1.5 pounds ribeye steak thinly sliced
  • 16 ounces cheese tortellini fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup provolone cheese shredded
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 medium onion thinly sliced
  • 1 large bell pepper thinly sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Cook the cheese tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced ribeye steak and cook until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the sliced onion and bell pepper. Sauté until soft.
  • Return the steak to the skillet and add the garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.
  • Add the heavy cream and shredded provolone cheese. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
  • Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Serve hot.

Notes

For added flavor, top with additional shredded provolone cheese before serving.
