  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1.5 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 24 Cadbury mini eggs or similar chocolate eggs

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until fully combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Drop tablespoonfuls of dough onto the prepared cookie sheets and press a Cadbury mini egg into the center of each cookie.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
