Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, mix together ranch seasoning, buffalo sauce, and sour cream. Add chicken and stir to coat.
Spread the chicken mixture in an even layer in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the chicken layer.
Arrange tater tots evenly over the cheese layer. Drizzle melted butter over the top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle remaining 1 cup of cheddar cheese on top. Allow cheese to melt before serving.
Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
Notes
This dish can be made ahead and refrigerated. Reheat thoroughly before serving. Adjust the buffalo sauce quantity according to your heat preference.
