Instructions
Prep the Broccoli:
Steam broccoli until tender, then finely chop. Make sure to remove excess moisture using a paper towel or cheesecloth if needed.
Mix the Filling:
In a large bowl, combine broccoli, cheddar cheese, Parmesan, breadcrumbs, eggs, garlic, and seasonings.
Stir until everything is well mixed and holds together. If too wet, add more breadcrumbs a tablespoon at a time.
Shape the Balls:
Roll mixture into 1 to 1½-inch balls.
Roll each ball in extra breadcrumbs for a crispier finish.
Cook Your Way:
Fry Method:
Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep skillet.
Fry balls in batches for 2–3 minutes, or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
Bake Method:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Place balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet and spray with cooking spray.
Bake for 18–20 minutes, flipping halfway.
Air Fryer Method:
Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
Air fry in a single layer for 10–12 minutes, shaking halfway through.
Serve:
Serve hot with ranch dressing, marinara, or your favorite dipping sauce.
