  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Season the beef tenderloin with salt and pepper.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil.
  • Sear the beef on all sides until browned.
  • Transfer the beef to a roasting pan and place it in the oven. Roast for 25-30 minutes for medium-rare.
  • In the same skillet, add mushrooms and garlic. Cook until mushrooms are golden.
  • Add beef broth and bring to a simmer, then stir in heavy cream and cook until thickened.
  • Slice the beef tenderloin and serve with mushroom gravy.

Notes

Let the beef rest for 10 minutes before slicing to ensure juiciness.
