Ingredients

  • 1 8 oz wheel of Brie cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup salted caramel sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • Pinch of sea salt optional, for extra salty flavor
  • Crackers sliced baguette, or apple slices for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or use a small, oven-safe dish.
  • Prepare the Brie: Place the Brie wheel on the prepared baking sheet or in the oven-safe dish.
  • Toast the Pecans: In a small skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add the chopped pecans and sauté for 3-4 minutes, until the pecans are fragrant and lightly toasted. Remove from heat.
  • Assemble the Topping: Drizzle the salted caramel sauce over the Brie, spreading it evenly. Sprinkle the toasted pecans on top. Add a pinch of sea salt if desired.
  • Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the Brie is warm and gooey inside. Be careful not to overbake, as the cheese may become too runny.
  • Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool for a minute or two. Serve warm with crackers, sliced baguette, or apple slices.
