Ingredients
 

  • 1 package 14 oz Little Smokies sausages
  • 1 lb bacon cut into thirds
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper optional
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder optional
  • Toothpicks for securing the bacon

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easier cleanup.
  • Wrap the Smokies: Take one Little Smokie and wrap a piece of bacon around it, securing it with a toothpick. Repeat this process until all the sausages are wrapped.
  • Mix the Topping: In a bowl, combine the brown sugar, black pepper, and garlic powder (if using). Sprinkle this mixture generously over the bacon-wrapped sausages on the baking sheet.
  • Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the sugar has caramelized. You may want to turn them halfway through for even cooking.
  • Serve: Once cooked, remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve warm and enjoy!
