Ingredients
 

  • 4 slices bacon cooked until crispy and crumbled
  • 1 ripe avocado diced
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 12 mini phyllo pastry cups or crackers
  • Fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish optional

Instructions

  • Prepare Bacon: Cook the bacon until crispy, either in a skillet or the oven. Let cool and crumble into small pieces.
  • Make the Filling: In a medium bowl, mash the diced avocado with the softened cream cheese until smooth. Stir in lime juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.
  • Assemble the Bites: Spoon the avocado and cream cheese mixture into the mini phyllo pastry cups or onto crackers. Top each bite with a sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon.
  • Optional Garnish: Add a small sprig of cilantro or parsley for a fresh touch.
  • Serve: Arrange the bites on a serving platter and serve immediately.
