White Chocolate Haystacks Made at Home

  • 12 ounces white chocolate chips or white chocolate bars, chopped
  • 2 cups chow mein noodles
  • 1 cup salted peanuts or mixed nuts
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. In a heatproof bowl, melt the white chocolate chips or chopped white chocolate using a double boiler or in short intervals in the microwave, stirring between each interval until smooth.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine chow mein noodles, salted peanuts or mixed nuts, and mini marshmallows.
  4. Pour the melted white chocolate over the mixture, gently folding and stirring until all ingredients are well coated.
  5. Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop mounds of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, forming haystack shapes.
  6. Allow the white chocolate haystacks to set at room temperature or refrigerate for quicker setting.
  7. Once set, store the haystacks in an airtight container at room temperature.
