- 4–6 pork chops (bone-in or boneless)
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 1 packet au jus gravy mix (or brown gravy mix)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
- 5–6 pepperoncini peppers
- 1/2 cup water or low-sodium chicken broth (optional for extra moisture)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the Pork Chops:
- Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Layer in Crock-Pot:
- Place the seasoned pork chops in the bottom of the Crock-Pot.
- Add Seasonings and Butter:
- Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix evenly over the pork chops.
- Place the stick of butter on top of the chops, and scatter the pepperoncini peppers around them.
- If you’re using water or chicken broth, pour it around the edges of the pork chops.
- Cook:
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the pork chops are tender and cooked through.
- Serve:
- The pork chops can be served with the cooking juices spooned over the top. They pair well with mashed potatoes, rice, or steamed vegetables to make a complete meal.
