Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat to prevent sticking.
  2. Mix the Dough:
    • In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, Cool Whip, and egg. Mix until well blended. The dough will be sticky; this is normal.
  3. Shape the Cookies:
    • Drop teaspoons of the dough into a bowl of powdered sugar. Roll them around to lightly coat and form them into balls.
    • Place the sugar-coated dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  4. Bake:
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are set and the tops are slightly cracked.
    • Be careful not to overbake to ensure the cookies remain soft and fluffy.

    • Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
