Place the onion pieces in the bottom of the slow cooker. Mix 1 tbsp. salt, 1 tsp. ground black pepper, cinnamon, and smoked paprika and in a small bowl. Place the flour in a bowl and rub the spice mixture over the pork.
Before adding the seasoned pork to the pan to sear on both sides, heat the oil in a large pan. Next, coat the pork in flour. Once it begins to brown, place the meat on the onion slices in the slow cooker.
In a large jug, mix all the ingredients for the slow cooker pork and pour the mixture over the meat. Put the lid on and cook for 8 hours on low.
Remove the meat from the slow cooker and pour off the cooking liquid when you are ready to serve. Cut the cooked meat into bite-sized pieces and shred with two forks before placing it on a baking tray or large shallow dish friend recipe. Pour a small amount of the cooking juices over the pork, and then combine the two.
Serve the fennel and apple pieces in the buns with the pulled pork after drizzling with lemon juice and seasoning thoroughly. If desired, spread English mustard and mayonnaise on the buns.

HOW TO STORE SLOW-COOKED PORK?
EASY SLOW COOKER-PULLED PORK RECIPE To keep the pork as moist as possible when reheating, store it in the juices in the refrigerator. After cooking, transfer the liquids and chopped pork to an airtight food container, then refrigerate for up to 4-5 days. When the pork is completely chilled in the refrigerator (about three months), you can put it in the freezer for longer storage. Simply heat the pork in a saucepan over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally.
